San Solomon Spring in Reeves County Texas has an outflow of over 20 million gallons a day. It feeds the giant (1.75 acre) swimming pool of Balmorhea State Park. TSG visited the ginormous swimmin' hole on our first transcontinental road trip in 2002 and it's taken us 20 years to make it back. Sometimes revisiting places that hold good memories results in somewhat of a letdown, but such was not the case this morning. The place is as awesome as we remember.

For something made of concrete, the bottom/sides look kind of . . . au natural? And, fish too? Is the water naturally warm, or is this cold spring water?
