Whoa, whoa, whoa-oh-ohhhoh....MONA


Museum of Neon Art, that is--

Cool gallery in downtown LA displaying works by local artists as well as donated and rescued signs from what is becoming a bygone era. The museum also sponsors "Neon Cruises" in the summertime, where aficionados of electrically-charged gasses hop aboard an open-topped double-decker bus to see neon "in the wild".
Here we have some images from the museum, plus a special animated treat(?)--their Fun Land sign (TSG still researching the origin of this artifact)
