 TSG was looking forward to visiting our first Buc-ees, the legendary everything-but-the-kitchen sink travel store, but we have to say our first impression wasn't all that great. For one thing, the gas pumps had no windshield washing supplies whatsoever. The store itself, while certainly big and stocked will all kinds of crap, wasn't head and shoulders above similar establishments that we've come across in our travels.

We will, however, have to give the big beaver's megastore props for having a really impressive display of beef jerky.

Lizard Tail Tale

 The problem with trying to take pictures of chuckwallas is they are extremely skittish. Get a little too close or make any sudden movements and they will retreat into a rock crevice and you'll be lucky to even get a shot of their tail as illustrated here.
