TSG was quite enthused to see Hotdogger Team 33 in Huntsville today. It was kind of a kick to pull up pix from our previous W'mobile post (11/15/20) to see Barb and Chloe's reactions. Turned out they knew team members Molly and Spence who we met in Santa Cruz last year.

The Wreck Of The E̶d̶m̶u̶n̶d̶ ̶F̶i̶t̶z̶g̶e̶r̶a̶l̶d̶ H̶e̶s̶p̶e̶r̶u̶s̶ Golden Ray
Back in September of 2019, the car transport freighter the Golden Ray ran into trouble shortly after departing Brunswick, GA and capsized in St. Simons Sound. It was declared a total loss along with it's cargo of over 4,200 vehicles. More than two years later the salvage operation continues, with a gigantic chainsaw-like device cutting the ship into pieces while a huge crane continues to transfer the mangled automobile carcasses to a barge.
These photos taken from the top of the St. Simon Lighthouse and the St. Simons Island Pier.

Another Day, Another Florida Spring
Today we had Ichetucknee Springs State Park's famous "Blue Hole Spring" all to ourselves.
Well, there were some fish in there with us, obviously. Probably some other critters as well, but since we didn't have any snorkel gear, who knows was else was lurking down there.

Famous Head In A Box
Seen at Daytona's Museum of Arts & Sciences, this head in a box caught our eye
As is often the case, we don't bother to read the informational panels, simply being content with grabbing the image and moving on. It wasn't until we got around to drafting tonight's post that we looked up the item on the museum's webpage and discovered that the "head" is, in fact, a death mask of Napoleon Bonaparte.
