Spotted whilst looking out at the parking lot this morning to check the weather. Besides bright blue skies we saw this cool-looking ride. A quick google shows that the 1950 Merc "Creamsicle Delight" is/(was?) owned by a J. Blore of Nevada. Nice work, Mr. B!

Looking for Roadside Attractions along our route to beautiful Barstow,
TSG found an entry for "Avenue of Faces"

Well, we certainly couldn't pass that up. We were hoping to see more of Kent Holgrem's handiwork, but we were enchanted by the few examples we saw in his yard (on the corner of Mojave and East E) and across the street at Phillip Marx Park.  Not super exciting, but every small roadside gem adds a little bit o' American 2-lane sparkle to our road trip tiara.
