A Message From Marion Morrison

See, I told you that I ran into John Wayne during my travels last week! This crude composite features a sighting from the Route 66 Museum in Barstow as well as the aforementioned Kernville Museum. Kernville, about 50 miles east of Bakersfield, is where many westerns were filmed in the 30s and 40s.

George Hayduke was a founding  member
of the Monkey Wrench gang.
He measured driving distances not in miles,
but in the amount of beer required to make the trip.)
