Our lodgings this evening happened to be right across the street from the Lone Star/Tri-City Corvette Club's 28th annual show. Quite the impressive gathering of all different versions of America's Sport's Car, including several of our favorite, the mid-60s Stingray.

We have a friend who lives in Austin and who easily qualifies as a 'vette nut. Thought she might be at that show, but checking the map I see Beaumont is about 4 hours away from Austin. So, I give it a 50/50 possibility.
