The "old" State Capitol in Baton Rouge tops the list of things to see, and justly so. The castle-inspired building with it's fantastic stained-glass ceiling dome and the classic spiral staircase up to the mezzanine are breathtaking.
Just as impressive to TSG (unsurprisingly) is the massive live oak out on the front lawn

Yeah, I see the problem and the comparison. In this particular case, while I might ordinarily go with that tree, I think that stained glass thingie might just edge the tree off the gold medal podium.
