"The Best Record Store Between Oklahoma City And Amarillo"

That's the humble boast made by the friendly woman during my visit to Spinning Jenny's House of Music in Shamrock, Texas*.  Despite its small size, the establishment has a decent/eclectic selection and a more than decent vibe.

*probably most famous for iconic Route 66 Tower Gas Station/U-Drop Inn Cafe

Lot of personality on display there.

I have never seen that Raider's LP cover. Whoa.

And, TSG, if you go in to record shops from time to time, you might keep your eye open for the original soundtrack to Clockwork Orange. I had it for years, and then it slipped away. Thing is, when I scored what appeared to be the CD version thereof . . . it wasn't. It had some of the same music, and even then, sometimes in a different version. Something obviously went wonky and off the rails in licensing land. Anyway, if you should spot a playable version of that original album, you might be able to pick up a commission for yourself by scoring it for me.
