I did go to Taos Pueblo but I must confess I was a little underwhelmed. Maybe it was the 5-mile bumpy dirt road detour to get there or the $16 entry fee, but it was just kinda meh for me. Or maybe it's because I really wanted a tamale and frybread tacos just weren't gonna cut it. The main pueblo is quite beautiful though and I would recommend a visit to anyone with interests in that direction. It just wasn't happening for me the day I was there.
Some talented artists have been there and done that. On the other hand, I gotta say, I was highly amused to ponder how a wrist watch could be "authentic frontier style." Really? A wrist watch just like what Bill Cody would have worn? Cool.
