Elvis: Pull My Finger!

Tupelo, MS

A photo pose that we're sure no-one else has ever thought of before.

p.s.-- If you decide to hit Johnnie's, The King's old hangout for a bite to eat, a head's up should you have a hankerin' for a hot dog: don't be surprised when they serve it "Johnnie's style" and it shows up in a hamburger bun.

James Dean Treasure Trove

TSG found this 65 year-old scrapbook full of articles, pictures and clippings in an antique store during our recent travels. For some reason this collection--obviously a labor of love by a dedicated fan--really piqued our interest.  Talk about an impulse buy, at $40 it seemed like a bargain at that particular moment.  Hey, at the very least we figured it would be good for a couple of blog posts.

Stay tuned for a more in-depth dive into this once we've had time for a scanning session or two (or three).
