Yo Who, Yo Who, A Pirate's Life For Daltrey

Thanks to Ed Carter for providing inspiration for this week's post. A recent episode of his Everybody is Interesting podcast featured producer Dale Bell. The bro sent us a few photos of Dale and Roger Daltrey on the set of Pirate Tales, a mini-series with Rog as William Dampier:

The images sparked our curiosity and we found the episodes on youtube. For the swashbuckling fans in our audience, here are a few of clips of The Who's lead singer as the pirate host guy:

Watch For Rocks

Visitors to Morro Bay can't avoid noticing the namesake big rock that dominates the view from just about any angle. Most probably don't go check out the back side, where there's a pretty impressive collection of piled-up rocks. It wouldn't be a stretch to call it Cairnville. As we were checking the place out we overheard one youthful tourist declare, "This place should be one of the wonders of the world!" 

We don't disagree.
