Visitors to Morro Bay can't avoid noticing the namesake big rock that dominates the view from just about any angle. Most probably don't go check out the back side, where there's a pretty impressive collection of piled-up rocks. It wouldn't be a stretch to call it Cairnville. As we were checking the place out we overheard one youthful tourist declare, "This place should be one of the wonders of the world!"
We don't disagree.

I admit, I did not know this about that particular rock's backside.
There is a place in Door County, Wisconsin where folks construct such things. Nothing on this scale, however.
Seems to me that messing about with rocks, including piling them atop one another, is a very human thing to do.
Extremely appropriate use of a round-about video shot, by the way.
I wonder if Andy Goldsworthy would find this place interesting.
