Apologies to our friends in eastern Europe, but apparently UMG doesn't want you folks hearing the intro to "Tunnel Of Love" on youtube*. For everyone else, here's the promised recap of our annual first weekend of summer foray to Santa Cruz.

For whatever reason (OK, the crazy passage of a lot of time), a lot of the Boardwalk just didn't ring bells. It is amazing how well preserved those woodies are. My folks had a fake woodie - a Ford Country Squire station wagon, featuring some nice laminated fake wood on the side panels. Those little wiggling solar powered figures? Any one of those, by itself, would be more or less lame. But one after another, they actually sum up to something more impressive.
