Tiny Town And Other Fine Establishments

Here we have the latest additions to the TSG vintage lodging postcard collection.
Editor's note: The Tiny Town Motel and Restaurant is now the Pink Cadillac Diner/Budget Inn Natural Bridge complex.

These things are curiously amusing, and only seem to increase in those regards as I age. There is some element of nostalgia, maybe, but it's more than that. Nancy still insists on sending postcards when we visit/travel somewhere. The recipients (kids and grandkid) are, I think, mildly amused, as if we were presenting them with buggywhips.

Oh, there is certainly a heapin' helpin' of nostalgia going on for me with these cards -- of a time and place that I didn't really experience (as an adult, anyway). I have stayed at various "vintage" establishments over the years, for the most part they've been fine. Of course there's only so much they can do with these old properties considering the small room sizes and ancient infrastructure.
