And so we bring TSG's first-ever 7 day pantheon of panorama pics to a close. Some of the examples didn't turn out quite the way we hoped, but overall the results were pretty good. Time will tell if we decide to revisit a week-long single-format series of posts...one never knows what in the wide wide world of images might go on here.

Some nice tourist/hiker/traveler type scenes and places.
And then, there's the Metal Zoo. It is certainly understandable why admission is free. This very much smells like a yard-object hoarder whose situation got out of hand to the point where a spouse threatened dire consequences until these objects were moved to the "museum." I guess, in the end, it's a win-win for all concerned.
The Metal Zoo is a yard-art emporium that has been around for many years. I spoke to the owner and asked how much of his inventory was manufactured locally. He said "none of it" -- 100% of his stock comes from various suppliers in Mexico. Everything gets shipped to him "unfinished" (bare metal) and they paint and detail the pieces on site.
I wasn't really surprised to hear that everything came from Mexico. It's probably the case for a huge percentage of tourist trap trinkets just about everywhere. Years ago I was taken aback (and a little disappointed) to discover the geodes and petrified wood in the gift shops of the southwest comes in truckloads from south of the border, purchased by the ton by resellers in the USA.
