(aka The "Flagship" of the Metal Zoo)
As noted earlier, the wares on sale at the Metal Zoo are mass-produced south of the border, so this example isn't particularly rare or unusual. But it is pretty cool, and since there's a long-awaited Beatle event* coming up in a few days, it seems worth featuring in today's post. By the way, if you feel you need one of these in your front yard, it will only set you back $2,495...but the owner seemed like a nice guy and he'd probably be willing to cut you a deal.

Much appreciated. I even spy a sky of blue and some grass of green.
When I had a home with a big, white, capsule-shaped propane tank, I thought from time to time of tarting it up with a similar paint job.
This also reminds me of a yellow sub on display in Geraldton, Australia. Can't remember the context or setting, like whether it was part of a playground or whatever.
There's a topic for a not-yet-done coffee table book - yellow submarines around the world.
