Looks Like We're In For Nasty Weather

We missed the best thunder and lightning part, but this clip shows it was coming down pretty good.

We spent a night in the motorhome in Perry. Which amused us as we were traveling with a cat named Perry. As I recall, there wasn't much about Perry that was worth writing home about. Perhaps you were fortunate to have some significant weather to give you something of interest to consider. I think I recall having dinner in a Ponderosa or Bonanza steakhouse - they still had one of those.

I'm sure your next day's travels will take you somewhere more interesting.

I know of Perry mainly because it's the location of "Pelicamp", home base of a youtuber I follow (Traveling Robert) It's also where I bought my cheap-o Vivitar underwater camera on the 2021 trip to the Sunshine State. Lastly, Perry is where you'll find Forest Capital Museum State Park with it's talking tree exhibit and preserved homestead buildings where I first encountered a dogtrot cabin.
