Indian Buffalo Horn (?)


Mysterious object found near our cottage at Pt. Reyes. TSG googled "animal horns" and we discovered that this is likely a buffalo horn, a popular dog treat sourced from grass-fed (/free-range?)Indian water buffaloes. So, a tip to our fellow travelers-- when packing up and heading off to your next destination, take a moment and make sure your canine companion hasn't left anything behind!

Parm pooches love those things. Visiting dogs do, too. I've never tried nibbling on one myself. Perhaps dipped in a suitable sauce?
