Nicely done dragon boats. The one's I'm used to seeing are made of cardboard (for the most part) and don't last beyond the events of a particular day's racing. Wonder if these were custom made for this particular user, or if some company somewhere cranks these things out?
Those dragon boats were the sole highlight of my brief stop in Portland. Despite my love of Fred and Carrie's humorous take on the City of Roses, the city doesn't do anything for me.
PS: there were several different types of dragon boats in the marina. From what I can tell, the ones in the pictures are part of the fleet used in the Portland-Kaohsiung Sister City Association's annual dragon boat race held in June.
