Seen standing tall in the lower gallery of the Santa Fe Arcade, this faithful recreation would certainly take any man cave to the the next level. Robert Downey Jr. not included (but for that price maybe he could make an appearance for the unveiling)

Stickers On The Inside Of The Rt 66 Drive-Thru Arch, Grants NM

There was a TSG sticker scheme in the works, but it kind of got lost in the shuffle of pre-trip preparations. So obviously we're a little bummed that we can't contribute a "TSG Was Here" kinda thing when we see an (apparently) community-tolerated sticker wall like this.

 

@ The Wigwam

Another iconic Rt 66 spot, the Wigwam Motel in Holbrook (one of only 3 remaining "Wigwam Villages). Unfortunately we've found it impossible to book a room over the years -- we've yet to have a phone call answered and every time we've been there the office has been closed. Obvioualy someone is working the reservation desk--all the Teepees seen to be occupied whenever we pass by.
