Any Who fan is familiar with the legend that Moonie's 21st birthday celebration ended with him driving a car into a hotel swimming pool. That story may or may not be true, but the event was re-created today at Hermitage Arms.
Driver was shaken up but otherwise okay. Fingers crossed that this doesn't mean the end of swimming for the summer.
Any serious road trip to Florida must surely include a visit to Weeki Wachee Springs State Park. Undeniably a relic from another age of tourism, the underwater theater production ("The Little Mermaid" when TSG was there) alone makes a visit to the park worthwhile. Frankly, the rest of the park for us was kinda meh--it's one of those places best appreciated by families with kids. But we have to say we enjoyed our visit immensely...another classic roadside attraction checked off the bucket list.
