Have the lush manicured lawns and ivy-covered gates fronting the homes of the rich and famous fallen victim to climate change? Have they been replaced by sand and sagebrush? 

In this case, no...seeing as how this particular iteration of B. Hills is out in the middle of Nevada. But that doesn't mean the folks in the "real" BH are off the hook.

We passed by this spot several years ago...one of those "oops, missed the exit, maybe next time" moments. (easy enough on the 500-mile trek between Reno and SLC)

The "restoration" seems more like benign neglect--the buildings are all fenced off--but we appreciate the effort.
