Accidental Autographs

TSG recently acquired a used copy of Wishbone Ash's "Live Dates" album on CD.

Pulling out the booklet we were surprised to see what appeared to be bassist/founding member Martin Turner's autograph on the back. Of course there's no way to determine the provenance of our item. But the signature does look reasonably close to a "certified authentic" autograph on a collector's website.

We're a bit more certain regarding the authenticity of the signatures we discovered on the title page of this book purchased on eBay:

If it's real, having Martin Turner's autograph is sort of cool.

But Anthem, both the book and the video project has long been a favorite document of being on the road in the mid-90s. So seeing Kristin and Shainee's signatures was a real thrill.

Got me to thinking, have I anything autographed? Not sure about books. I do have a Beatles album cover with a Macca and Ringo autograph, and with fairly certain provenence. But that's about it. I've had that album cover for decades - it hangs on a wall near the studio.
