All kinds of stuff seen on this year's seasonal photo rambles. Background slideshow images from the DOCA Festival Of Holiday Lights, which featured quite a menagerie of creatures presented to appeal to (according to the event spokesperson) our "inner-children" To that we say, mission accomplished.

One of my fave Xmas songs; hard to say why, exactly. Amongst the numerous Xmas images, the one of a charging GI Joe figure was kind of, well, interesting. I found myself looking for the classic red pickup truck with the Christmas tree, and, yep, there it was. Being reminded of the "Santa Claus Conquers the Martians" flick, however, might have been just a tad cruel.
The official video of this song on the Bing Crosby youtube channel is a fun animation with a "Tiki-ized" Bing accompanied by lovely hula dancers.
