We were saddened today to learn the Historic Gold Rush town Chinese Camp has fallen victim to the lightning-caused TCU wildfire. The Kiwi Tavern there was a regular stop when we wanted to pick up a drink or snack on the way to or from Yosemite.

Update: latest news reports indicate firefighters were able to save the property
surrounding the store and the community is rallying in support of the owners.
