My library includes a rasonably-sized collection of pirate books. As does my small video collection. I don't, however, recall this scene of Burt's stunt double swinging around in the rigging. Gotta say, his buckles are quite a'swash.

The clip is from the opening scene of The Crimson Pirate (highly recommended), and that isn't a stunt double. Before becoming a star of the silver screen, Lancaster was a circus acrobat. His skills were also on display in the the 1956 feature Trapeze.
