The piscatorial fence display across the street from the San Gregorio General Store has been around for awhile--there are mentions of it going back to 2009. No-one seems to know why the fish heads have been hanging around all these years (We probably should've asked the folks at the store...oh well, maybe next time)

My, that's kind of nasty. There is a fence in central Minnesota where my mom and dad lived that features, post by post, a similar display of boots. Who knows why?
What I found odd (besides the fish heads themselves of course) is there weren't any crows or ravens hanging around for the free eats. You'd think they'd be all over the chance to score some dried salmon on the hoof (so to speak).
