The latest additions to to the TSG Hotel/Motel postcard collection. Namesake-wise, our favorite here wasn't actually a hotel or motel, but a fine(?) dining establishment. Also of interest is the card sent from the Casa Munras Garden Inn to SF television station KRON in 1967.
ps: oops, this one didn't make it into the slideshow (the slideshow editor was not paying attention--sadly not an uncommon occurance when dealing with dozens of similarly-named image files. Oh Well.)

Many vague childhood memories came back, looking at those various one-story mom-and-pop non-chain motels (boasting their AAA accrediting). And, amused that began (and almost ended with) the Hyatt Regency at O'Hare - spent many hours there over the years as that was always the venue for the Chicago Fest for Beatles Fans.
In regards to having personal experience with these establishments, I've spent the night at 2 of them: the Many Glacier and the Munras Garden. It's always cool to find cards of places I've stayed. The record so far is 3, from the Park Crest in Monterey.
ps: just noticed one card that didn't make it to the slideshow (and coincidentally another that I've patronized...as a kid) , the Mecca Motel on Harbor Blvd. It's too much work to re-do the video so I took the easy way and just added the single image to the post.
