So, a lot of work there. The grasshopper and fish were pretty awesome. Saddest was the dragon at the end of the line. Must have run out of time, materials, money, inspiration, and/or talent by that point.
I spoke to Gary Greff, the prime mover behind the "project". He did most of the work himself, with a little assistance from the few locals who were onboard with trying making Regent a tourist destination. He said most of the townsfolk (who were old ranchers and farmers) weren't really all that interested in the effort, they didn't see any value in it. Gary had a positive attitude but the reality was the town doesn't have much of a future.
