I . . .
don't know what to say. Kinda stunned here.

My vinyl of the Year 2000 is long, long gone. Though I still laughingly sing that spoken part about the little guy next to me with a lot of soul from time to time.

Can't believe you found that somewhere. Absolutely frigging amazing.

As for the graphic subject matter, am I to presume that all of those things actually work to produce music in addition to looking artistic? Some of them look very appropriate for playing hard rock. (Har)

"People! For the last 40 minutes or so you have been listening to a music odyssey..."

How funny is it that the line has stuck in my head for all these years? I didn't even remember the song itself. I was brainstorming trying to come up with a backing track for the slide show, and decided to look for the album on Discogs--yep, there it was. From there I went to youtube, and voilĂ !

Don't know if all of the audio hardware on display was in working condition. The spotlit high-end equipment in the "listening room" was working though, and it sounded really good--a very immersive experience. Unfortunately I had a train to catch and couldn't spend as much time there as I would've liked.

I went to Discogs and looked it up just for the grins of seeing the album cover again. You can see why I plucked it out of the bargain bin at Thrifty - it LOOKED like it oughta be a rockin' album. At Discogs, there were something like 15 reviews, with an average rating of 4 out of 5. Are you kidding me? The people doing the rating are obviously either the band members themselves or family.

I guess it was too obvious to use music by Art of Noise for this piece.
