You would think no one would need instructions on how to prepare this "traditional element of American food culture, having obtained significant cultural and patriotic status from their association with public events and sports since the 1920s"(Wikipedia). But of course someone felt the need to provide documentation. This particular example seen in the galley of the USS LST-325.

Well, there are many ways to accessorize a hot dog, I guess. Including the so-called Chicago Style and the famous Connie Island version. Even with that, however, the posted documentation does seem a tad over the top.
When we lived in Singapore, and the very first Taco Bell opened on the island, there were large posters providing instruction on how to properly eat a taco. I really wanted to score one of those posters, but alas, no opportunities presented themselves.
