Cool music. Reminds me of Portishead. Check out, for example, Sour Times.

As for the outdoors venue, that's a lot of varied weirdness stuffed into a single (short?) trek.

Sour Times...hmmm, I suppose there's some similarity. My method of choosing "background music" for short videos generally consists of filtering youtube's audio library for time and then going down the list one by one until I find something that "fits"

The Bear Gulch Trail through the talus caves is one of those fantastic National Park experiences that really makes you appreciate the work of the Civilian Conservation Corps.
