I was an early 1st gen skateboarder, but I've never, not even once, surfed in the surf. So much for having grown up in CA, right?

The pics are mine, shot from the pier. I actually took surf lessons and went out a few times on my own with a borrowed long board. Never got the hang (ten) of it though and I decided to stick with boogie boarding.
