TSG Tries To Be A Model Poster, But Today We're Plane Lazy

aka: Things you might see at the Wings of History museum in Morgan Hill

These models are a small sample of the collection that was on display at the now-defunct Flying Lady Restaurant. Many of the larger models "flew" around the dining room on a track suspended from the ceiling

Those look like very nicely rendered models. The difference between an obsessive modeler and a normal modeler is considerable, as is the difference in their respective results. Too bad that place is out of business. A C-19 victim, I presume? Hopefully, if so, someone can pick up the pieces down the road and reopen the place.

Unfortunately, the Flying Lady is long gone. The property was sold off in 1994 to the co-founder of the Fry's Electronics(now also defunct, having closed their doors last month). The land is slated to become the main campus of the American Institute of Mathematics.

You can relive The Flying Lady's glory days in this video posted by a member of the owner's family.

That's where I bought a really nice P-47 model for only $20. It hangs over my desk at work (haven't seen it in over a year!)
