On the agenda today was a visit to Florida City's landmark "Robert Is Here" fruit stand. We tried their signature Guanábana smoothie and it was...different, but pretty good. (The fruit's Wikipedia entry describes the flavor as "a combination of strawberries and apple with sour citrus flavor notes, contrasting with an underlying thick creamy texture reminiscent of banana")

Brrr. Make those jackfruit just a bit more medieval and they'd start to channel the spirit of a durian. Brrr.
