Just saw on a TV program yesterday where an original Barbie box set (in mint condition) from 1959 is worth around $20,000. Wonder what a custom item like that mohair rig might go for these days?

Don't know what the mohair-suited Barbie would fetch, but the nice woman at the info desk made a point of showing it to me. It was her favorite doll growing up and now it held a place of honor in the visitor center. Pretty cool.
