I remember those cameras. They don't still offer them, do they? Nah, probably not, not with phones having cameras with a pano option.
Nice pix, but the Fremont Peak shot is head and shoulders above the rest, having just about everything going for it. Mildly hard to believe that such a pic, including those colors and contrast, were so nicely captured by a little cardboard box.
And, FWIW, I found myself hoping/looking for a panoramic view of some crater somewhere as I clicked through these images. Surely you have such a shot in your collection? Or maybe you are saving that for a future post dedicated to meteors, craters, and like that.
The graininess adds to their appeal. Is that me on the bike?
I suppose you could find a version of the disposable panoramic cameras on ebay somewhere. Who knows if the film is still good. I saw an article that detailed the steps on how to reuse them--an iffy proposition considering the cheap plastic cases.
As far as the identity of the bike rider goes, it is either you or Fred Reichart.
