This week, we take you to Zzyzx, so named by evangelist/entrepreneur Curtis Howe Springer in hopes that his mineral spring spa would be the last word in the health resorts.
Nowadays, Zzyzx is home to CSU's Desert Studies Center.

The pix seem to present a reasonably well-kept venue. But the resort is closed?
Kind of reminds me of a percolation pond behind Pioneer High, but with palm trees.
