This project was supposed to get posted a couple of days ago, but TSG had a helluva time getting the final product together. In the end, after all the myriad issues, we came up with a decent slideshow of things you might see in Western Australia.

Nice. I couldn't help but keep my eye peeled for things that we, too, saw when cruising around west Australia (from somewhat south of Perth up to Monkey Mia). Only spotted two - the stroma-whatchamacallits and the museum with the aircraft. The terrain shots sometimes looked generally familiar, of course, and the emu and termites resonated strongly. I was quite amused by the little train on the pier. Both cool and, really, to what end? Isn't a key point of a pier (at least in a touresty sense) to just meander out while taking in the air and the view?
The train on the pier was in Carnavon. It used to run on the 122 year old "One Mile Jetty". Due to storm and fire damage it is closed now, perhaps permanently, considering the repair cost is estimated to be around $40,000,000.
Heck, if they charged just $1,000 per ticket they'd have that covered in just . . . 40,000 customers. OK, yeah, I get the delay.
