So. This is old stuff from some antique or curiosity shop located in Monterey?
In one picture, there seems to be some horrid looking man (?) attempting to do something very illegal with an elephant?
The Thrilling Chilling Sounds of the Haunted House LP made me laugh - I had my copy of that for years.
I was trying to gauge the size of the store by the variety, and quantity, of things shown. I was unable to come up with any kind of guess. The place could range from a roomy closet to a warehouse as far as I can tell.
These were all taken at the Cannery Row Antique Mall. It boasts of being the "Largest Antique & Collectibles Mall on the Central Coast" and was voted "1996 Antique Mall of the Year" by Professional Antique Mall Magazine (whoever they might be).
One article I read says the two floors add up to over 21,000 sq. ft. Whatever the square footage, there is a lot of neat stuff to be found. The elephant-guy is pretty horrid looking, but not as disturbing as the disheveled bearded guy with the worn off nose who looks to be nursing a nasty hangover.

If I recall correctly, didn't Willard Biscuit have a column discussing walnut collecting in Professional Antique Mall Magazine some time back?
