Those firefighting planes look the way I would expect such a craft to look; all red and "emergency" looking. Out our way the firefighting airplanes mostly look more normal with the exception of often sporting a red angular sash or slash.
While on this topic, a couple of weeks ago a firefighting jet lifted off from the local CDA airport and blew an engine. Molten hot bits and pieces spewed forth from the air as the jet circled around to safely land with no injuries. Those hot bits started something like 7 or 9 separate fires over a reasonably-sized area that gave local firefighters a fair amount of unexpected practice.

I think I would like to paint the beach scene.
