Knowing we were on Route 66, I kind of wondered if the Wigwam's were gonna make an appearance. And goodness, did they. It looks like the place is being maintained as a kind of museum or captured moment in time, though, instead of as a live business where you can still spend the night?
You can still sleep in a TeePee at The Wigwam in Holbrook if0 you can get someone to answer the phone (they don't do online reservations)
I haven't spent the night at this particular location, but I have stayed at the Wigwam in San Bernadino. The SoCal owners put a lot of work keeping the place up, but there's only so much you can do room-wise with the inherent limitations of a cement TP. It's nice to be able to say I slept in one but not somewhere I'd go back to.
