This week TSG's feature presentation is a very lazy* but potentially kinda amusing high-speed slide show of our visit to Cal Expo last month. The primary goal of our trip to the Fair was to photograph Elaine's gourd art that earned an Award of Merit in the Fine Arts category.
We had hoped to use the opening theme from the 1962 Pat Boone/Ann-Margaret version of State Fair, but decided to go with a canned youtube tune instead to avoid a possible takedown notice from the estate(s) of Rogers and/or Hammerstein.
*This particular lazy blogger was able to create the "raw" video in less than 5 minutes.
ps: apologies for the abrupt ending, but fade-outs have always been a hassle for TSG. And, as noted, we are too lazy tonight to even make the attempt.

Very cool! Especially the fine arts section, that part that shows the art piece called "The Witness".
Re: the pics from the Fine Arts exhibit--I'm kinda bummed about the white balance in those photos--the "blah" palette could've been corrected via camera settings or even in post-processing. But, again, I was too lazy to do either one of those.
Huh. I liked that. I presume that was just a stringing together of all of your shots taken that day in the order they were taken? Works for me.
Congrats on your award, Elaine; nice.
