I've never been the biggest fan of free verse; Mr. Hasslehoff offers up considerable grist to support that stance.
Love that seagull with the watermelon. He looks like the Freddy Krueger of the avian world.
My attribution should've probably been prefaced with "With apologies to.." -- and in turn DH should've probably offered apologies to the band First Class for his rendition of their timeless(?) classic(?).

Those would be long-billed curlews I believe. According to the Cornell Ornithology website they are America's largest shorebird.
