A bit of serendipity (a calendar image behind the registration desk of the River Tree Inn of Clarkston WA) led TSG off the beaten path to Washington States's Official Waterfall. A very scooby spot! We kinda wish we had gone down to join the folks at the bottom (zoom in on lower left corner of last image), but access to the "trail" required hopping a fence posted with a tersely-worded warning sign and we had other places to go and things to see...

Lolla Palouse[Falls] -- Ah!
A bit of serendipity (a calendar image behind the registration desk of the River Tree Inn of Clarkston WA) led TSG off the beaten path to Washington States's Official Waterfall. A very scooby spot! We kinda wish we had gone down to join the folks at the bottom (zoom in on lower left corner of last image), but access to the "trail" required hopping a fence posted with a tersely-worded warning sign and we had other places to go and things to see...

I had recently learned about those falls, and figure to get there myself someday. Glad to have the preview. Kind of impressive falls for such a location, actually. Too bad the posting didn't include a shot of the tersely worded warning sign. (And, no, you can never post enough content . . .)
