I presumed to search for a common thread, a theme to tie this all together. I believe I found one - This photographer has an eye for the small oddity, often within a larger context.

And speaking of "odd," that Popeye water pistol was more than odd. Kind of disturbing somehow. Probably illegal in many southern states.

I suppose I could've more accurately titled the post "Stuff I saw last Sunday in Oakland and Fremont", but that would've been boring. And yes, that Popeye squirt gun is sort of creepy, isn't it?
