This week TSG presents some selected spambot postings to our comments section, edited for brevity and intelligibility(?). As a bonus we're showcasing a few examples of what some have characterized as "Photoshop Prowess"...but others just as aptly have described these kinds of images as "messed with". Your mileage, as they say, may vary.

Ah. I commented too soon. I was scrolling up, saw the cloud pic, and was moved to comment as I did before realizing that there were many other parts to this posting.
Those incoming "comments" are highly amusing, in many cases. I, too, feel that we should all be looking out for brussels!!
I very much like how the lens distortion of the river/bridge pic lends a fine symmetry twixt the bridge and land.
PS - I am a little lost as to what the folks behind those robocomments (or whatever they are) are hoping to gain?
I took that cloud photo attempting to capture some pre-thunderstorm awesomeness, but the image didn't really convey the feeling of intensity that I was going for. However, the opening in the center seemed ready made for some kind of "face in the sky" treatment, and Alfred's mug fit just perfectly.
As to those 'bot comments--they usually conclude with something like "see my blog at..." with a link--I assume they're trying to drive traffic to their blogs or dubious marketing/adult websites. Who knows what flags or keywords they're programmed to react to--some of the ones I posted this time around are comments on blog entries from 2011.
I like my face in the clouds better!
