The Goldsworthys, they're in the...

Spire, Tree Fall, and Wood Line
...Presidio, and they're pretty dang scooby. After hearing that Andy Goldsworthy's Tree Fall was open for public viewing, TSG decided it was time for an expedition to see his three installations that are scattered around the grounds of The Presidio. As readers know, TSG is a big fan of dendroids,so we had a great time wandering around and checking out Andy's enviro-art pieces.

Wow. Very cool. If ever there were an appropriate time to ask the question, "Dendroid, dendroid, how do you grow?" this would be it!

Is the little princess part of the permanent exhibit? If not, she should be, I think.

We're any of these efforts named?

Named? Yep...as noted in the collage caption, they're called "Spire", "Tree Fall" and "Wood Line". The princess seems to be warily eying yours truly in that shot--it's always a little iffy taking pics of young kids, one never knows if the parents might take exception. One time I was confronted by a mother because I was taking pictures of toys scattered in a front yard--sometimes people don't grok my photographic interest in random stuff that happens to catch my eye.

Yeah, parents have to be careful of scattered-toy perverts!
