Here A Bear There A Bear

Despite the fact that our State Animal is long extinct and that Californians consider black bears pretty much a nuisance, you can't escape the ursine icon when traveling in the Sierra Nevada.

That's a lot of bears.

But one stands out that just begs the question . . . WTF? That bear in the upper right hand corner is doing . . . what? Scratching its butt on the tree? Or engaging in carnal knowledge with a low-hanging branch?

And someone wanted to PAINT that?
